This collection of poems is just what the title would indicate. They are spontaneous efforts, inspired by a variety of events–watching TV, conversations, observations, etc.–that occurred during the year of 2021. They are meant as a call to pause and reflect upon the events happening in our neighborhoods, cities, country, and world while still offering hope and encouragement during these difficult times.
Author Biography
Mike Hall is also the author of another collection of poetry, Autumn’s Back Porch: Reflections of a Life. He has been a teacher for the past forty-plus years and draws on these experiences to enrich and add humor to his writing. He and his wife, Cynthia, live in the Dallas area and are the proud parents of three children, who have all gone on to marry and have careers of their own. Some of their happiest days are spent with their two grandchildren.
