Time is a fundamental part of what it is to be human. Yet we seldom ask what time is, what regulates its flow, or what is our relation to it. This work explores these questions in depth and one finds that the spirit of man is inexorably connected to time in an unexpected way. Not only are the soul and time linked but there is a third component notably the human body which in turn is totally united to the soul. Since the human body is part of the material universe that also becomes included since time works for material things beyond the body as well.
