The Himalayas also know as Himavat, Hiachala, Himadri and Giri Raja are the highest mountain ranges in the world through the youngest and extend for 1600 miles, along the Northern broder. They are fittingly called the lord of the MOuntains. Animated by divinity as the soul and internal spirit, they stand, as it soul and internal spirit, they stand, as it were like the measuring rod of the earth. It is not easy to understand the Himalayas and their mysteries. The economity of their size, the extent of their beauty and the hugeness of their religious maganitism have attracted sages, saints, nature lovers from all parts of the world from time immemorial to unfathom the myths surrounding them.
