Brian and AJ Sackett head to Lubbock County, Texas in search of their wayward brother Brent who is reported living in a small town called Sundown. Along the way the brother’s encounter renegade Indians as well as a marshal and his deputy who are trailing them in order to arrest Brent for his crimes. The brothers run across a brewing range war that has them in the path of a stampeding herd of steers and an encounter with one of Brent’s old enemies, Black Jack Haggerty. The fourth story in Mason’s Sackett family series. A taut Western with plenty of action in an easy to read style.
