Broken, discarded and left to be consumed in the overwhelming whirlwind of emotions. Dianne Dobson, loosely bandaged herself together the best way she could after the turmoil that her abusers created in her life. Experiencing sexual abuse from the age of 7, she had to develop a hard exterior in an attempt to mask her deep seeded pain and anguish. The thick skin that she developed and the smile that she wore on her face could not completely hide the different levels of behavior that developed and festered over time. She would lie over and over, with I’m fine while her heart screamed silently, Help Me! Even after dedicating her life to Christ in 2003, it only scratched the service of the pain that her past sexual abuse had caused. Having believed she was fully healed, she attempted to walk in her new life, only to find out that there were a host of other issues that she still needed to address.
