Author Biography
Marc D. Thompson delved into writing and genealogy at a very early age. He has written stories, poems, lyrics and family history books. Marc went on to write and research throughout college, earning a B.S. degree from Moravian College. He has presented genealogical lectures and authored over fifteen family history volumes for his and other client’s families. Marc’s other published works include Compendium of Virtual and Traditional Fitness, The Fitness Book of Lists, Virtual Personal Training Manual, Fitness Quotes of Humorous Inspiration and a poetry compilation, He wrote a monthly genealogy column for Atlantic Avenue Magazine and currently pens a genealogy blog at google blogger and a fitness blog at Ideafit. Marc is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, founded a PA Genealogy Society and was the County Coordinator of the Chatham Co, GA USGenweb site. He believes in what he calls Creatalytical Thinking: The fusion of creativity and analysis to view life more fully and fulfill his place in this world. Writing now for over four decades, Marc has been influenced by science, art and his relationships, and yet marvels at the cosmically-driven direction he receives from energy around him.
